The special program "Beautiful Bandaragama," jointly organized by the Bandaragama Pradeshiya Sabha and the Clean Sri Lanka Secretariat, was successfully held on 16th August in Bandaragama town.

This program served not only to clean the Bandaragama town but also to raise awareness within the community about the importance of environmental conservation. Led by Member of Parliament Oshani Umanga, the event was organized and facilitated by Mr. Dasun Wijesekera, Director (Coordination) of the Clean Sri Lanka Secretariat, Mr. Samith Jayage, Chairman of Bandaragama Pradeshiya Sabha, along with officials from the Bandaragama Pradeshiya Sabha.

Various other government institutions and members of the local community also participated in this occasion. During the program, several activities were organized to involve local caretakers in maintaining the town’s environment in an orderly manner and to educate the community.
