Under the "Clean Sri Lanka" national program, the "Happy Nation Village by Village" initiative was conducted on 16th December in collaboration with the Batticaloa District Secretariat and the Koralaipattu South - Kiran Divisional Secretariat, providing mobile services from all government departments.

Under the leadership of District Secretaryt Mr. J.S. Arulraj and the arrangements of Kiran Koralaipattu South Divisioanl Secretary Mrs. P. Nirupa, the mobile service took place at the Kiran Raji Mandapam with the participation of Batticaloa District Parliamentarian Mr. Kandasamy Prabhu.

During this event, the Parliamentarian stated that the President is acting as the hero of the people by serving those affected by disasters.

Government departmental services were delivered directly to the doorsteps of the people in Koralaipattu South - Kiran Divisional Secretariat Division, one of the most challenging areas in the district.

Notably, services such as overdue birth registrations, land-related services, welfare services, issuance of Roofing Sheets, elderly identity cards, solutions for problems faced by migrant workers abroad for foreign employment, and national identity card issuance were provided on the spot.

It is noteworthy that the event was designed by IT Officer Mrs. K. Laxika and IT Assistant Mrs. J. Nimajini from the Batticaloa District Secretariat's IT Division, with data entered electronically through computer systems.

The event was attended by Provincial Land Commissioner Mr. K.L.M. Mussamil, Eastern Province Deputy Registrar General Mr. K. Nataraja, Assistant District Secretary Mr.G. Pranavan, Clean Sri Lanka National Program District Coordinator Mr.Fabian Pathilath, District Development Committee Coordinating Secretary Mr.G. Dilip Kumar, Local Government Authority members, Eastern Province Governor's Coordinating Secretary Mr. Abdullah, and several senior officials.
