The “NextGen Leaders” programme, conducted under the "Clean Sri Lanka" initiative, celebrated another milestone with an event hosted at Kuliyapitiya Central College.

This nationwide programme, which encompasses all government schools, is dedicated to fostering positive social change by cultivating leadership and character development in students through the ethical pillar, one of the three main pillars of Clean Sri Lanka programme.

The latest phase was inaugurated under the guidance of Mr. C.D.B. Basnayake, Director of Education for the Kuliyapitiya zone. Coordinated and supported by the Kuliyapitiya Zonal Education Office, the event drew an enthusiastic gathering of schoolchildren from the surrounding region.

The programme focuses on instilling ethical values and leadership qualities among young learners, serving as a foundation for a socially responsible and ethical future generation of Sri Lanka.
