As part of the "From the Heart to Jaffna" program, a workshop for journalists from the Jaffna district was held on August 14, 2025, at the Northern Province Chief Secretary’s Office. The event brought together approximately 50 participants, including journalists from prominent media organizations and media studies students from the University of Jaffna.

During the workshop, attendees were briefed on the Clean Sri Lanka initiative by Ms. Saradha Anjali Manoharan, Senior Assistant Secretary to the President. The keynote address was delivered by Professor Vimal Saminathan, Senior Lecturer at the University of Jaffna.

The workshop covered a broad range of topics such as media ethics, social media management, emerging media technologies, language and media, accurate information dissemination, environmental reporting, and community communication.

Organized by the Clean Sri Lanka Secretariat under the "From the Heart to Jaffna" program, the workshop received valuable support from the Governor of Jaffna, Mr. Nagalingam Vedanayagam, and the District Secretary of Jaffna, Mr. Maradalinkami Pradeepan.

The occasion was also attended by Mr. Gunalan Dilip Amudan, Media Secretary to the Governor, and Mr. Nishantha Alvis, Assistant Director (Media and Information) of the Clean Sri Lanka Secretariat.
