A ceremony to distribute pair of bicycle tires to 1,000 selected school students from low-income families was held on 15th August morning at the auditorium of the Thelippalai Union College. During the event, arrangements were made to provide bicycle tire pairs to 150 children from the Thelippalai and Sandilipay educational zones in the Valikamam education division.

The ceremony was attended by Jaffna District Member of Parliament K. Ilankumaran, Local Government Authority Members Kokilan Sureka, Kabilan, Siva Subramaniam, Mariadas Joseph, and other members and representatives from the Kankasanturai electoral division, including organizer Pragashpathi of the National People’s Power and Assistant Director Nishantha Alvis from the Clean Sri Lanka Secretariat. Mr. Roshan Witharana, Manager of the D.S.I. Group of Companies, was also present.
