Uva Tuk Tuk Drivers Training

Under the Clean Sri Lanka National program, the inauguration of the training sessions aimed at enhancing the ethics and service quality of three-wheel (Tuk Tuk) drivers engaged in the tourism sector in Uva Province was held recently. This workshop is part of a series of provincial-level training sessions conducted islandwide.  The workshop focused on key areas including Ella, Bandarawela, and Haldummulla.

Organized by the Uva Province Ministry of Tourism, these programs were held in collaboration with the Haldummulla Divisional Secretariat. The Haldummulla workshop saw enthusiastic participation from over 150 local three wheel taxi drivers.

These capacity building initiatives aim to uplift service standards within the tourism transport sector, contributing to a better experience for visitors and supporting sustainable tourism development in the region.
