To promote the "Clean Sri Lanka" initiative more effectively among the Tamil community in the Northern Province, the Clean Sri Lanka Secretariat has organized a series of programs titled "From the Heart to Jaffna." These programs will take place from August 13 to August 20, 2025, with a focus on the Jaffna district.

Coinciding with the launch, a media briefing for journalists in Jaffna was held on August 13, 2025, at the Jaffna District Secretariat premises to provide detailed information about the upcoming activities.

The media briefing was chaired by the Minister of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, Mr. Ramalingam Chandrasekar. The event was graced by the presence of Mr. K. Ilankumaran, Member of Parliament for Jaffna District.

Also in attendance were Northern Province Governor N. Vedanayagam, Northern Province Chief Secretary Thanuja Murugesan, Jaffna District Secretary M. Pradeepan, along with several other dignitaries.

Representing the Clean Sri Lanka Secretariat, Senior Assistant Secretary to the President, Ms. S. Manoharan, shared her insights and perspectives with the media during the event.
