 
The inaugural event of the "NextGen Leaders" national program was held at Kilinochchi Murugananda School in the Northern Province on 30th October morning. This event is part of the national "Clean Sri Lanka" program, aiming to develop positive attitudes and leadership qualities among school children.
The program was inaugurated under the leadership of Honorable Governor Mr. N. Vethanayahan. Approximately 100 students from 8 selected schools across the Northern Province participated in this initiative designed to cultivate future leaders with strong values aligned with the Clean Sri Lanka vision.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by key education officials including the Northern Province Secretary of Education Mr. M. Patrick Diranjan, Northern Province Director of Education Mr. Y. Jayachandran, Additional Provincial Director of Education Mrs. S. Lavanya, Kilinochchi Northern Zone Education Director Mr. A.K. Sivanarularaja, and Principal of Kilinochchi Murugananda School Mr. A. Pangaytselvan. Several other distinguished guests and educators also attended the event.
This program reflects the commitment to educating the next generation on environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and leadership skills, all vital pillars for sustaining the Clean Sri Lanka initiative nationwide.
