Welcome to Clean Sri Lanka

New Phase of the “Soba Sip Wadula” Project Launched in Kegalle

Soba Sip Wadula

A new phase of the “Soba Sip Wadula” project, implemented under the ethical pillar of the Clean Sri Lanka initiative, was recently launched at Kegalle Ananda Keerthi Vidyalaya. This project aims to nurture a sensitive generation that deeply loves and respects nature.

The initiative is carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation, the Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Training, the Sri Lanka Hadabima Authority, and S-Lon PLC’s Tree Foster Care program.

The inaugural ceremony in Kegalle was attended by Dr. Nandana Millagoda, Member of Parliament for Kegalle District, the Chairman of the Bulathkohupitiya Pradeshiya Sabha, the Divisional Secretary, and several other dignitaries.

This project is part of a nationwide effort to foster environmental awareness among school children by creating green learning environments and encouraging a deeper connection with the natural world.
