The Western Province launch of the NextGen Leaders program under the "Clean Sri Lanka" initiative was held on November 1 at Maharagama Presidential College, led by the Western Province Governor Hon. Hanif Yusuf.

The program, implemented through all government schools in the province, focuses on the ethical pillar, one of the three principal pillars of the Clean Sri Lanka initiative. It aims to foster positive social change by developing moral values and leadership qualities among schoolchildren.

The launch event was attended by several dignitaries, including Western Province Director of Education Ms. Darshani Iddamalgoda and Public Relations Officer to the Governor of Western Province Mr. Arun Pradeep Kumar, alongside other distinguished guests.

This program is part of a nationwide effort to build a future generation with strong ethical values and leadership skills, encouraging a sense of responsibility towards the community and the nation.
