On the seventh day of the "From the Heart to Jaffna" program, numerous activities continued across the Jaffna District.

Accordingly, a workshop was held at the Nothern Province Local Government Commissioner's office under the leadership of the Honorable Governor of the Northern Province for mayors, chairpersons, and deputy chairpersons of all local government institutions, including municipal councils and urban councils in the Jaffna District. The workshop focused on the Clean Sri Lanka initiative, their roles in the Clean Sri Lanka programme within local government affairs, solid waste management, community development programs, identifying problems faced by local government institutions in public health and other sectors, creatively solving those problems, and developing plans for income generation. The session also included awareness on government tax policies.

The event received resource support from Ms. S. Manoharan, Senior Assistant Secretary of the Presidential Secretariat, and Ms. Sugandhi, Assistant Director of the Department of Inland Revenue. Mr. Dasun Wijesekera, Director (Coordination) of the Clean Sri Lanka Secretariat, also participated in the occasion.
