Under the "From the Heart to Jaffna" program, a first aid training session for students was held 18th morning at the Point Pedro Muslim Girls' College, led by Member of Parliament J. Rajivan.
The primary training was conducted by officers from the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society. Over 150 students participated in the session. At the Occation an international level training was provided using scientific methods for administering emergency treatment for accidents that may occur at home, school, or on the road.
The program received full support from the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society. Attendees included Assistant Director Nishantha Alwis from the Clean Sri Lanka Secretariat, Principal Indrani Muralidaran of Point Pedro Muslim Girls' College, and Provincial Council Member Ramanan, among others.
