Another phase of the provincial-level training programme series to enhance the ethics and service quality of three-wheeler (Tuk Tuk) drivers in the tourism sector under the Clean Sri Lanka programme was recently held in Negombo.

The inauguration, led by Hon. Champika Hettiarachchi, Member of Parliament and Chairman of the Gampaha District Tourism Sub Committee, was attended by Mr. Robert Heenkenda, Mayor of Negombo Municipal Council, Deputy Mayor Mr. Dulip Chamara Pranandu, and other distinguished guests.

Officials from local tourism associations and a large group of three wheeler drivers from the Negombo area participated in the event, reflecting the programme’s commitment to uplifting professional standards and service excellence among tourism stakeholders at the provincial level.
