 
The second training program aimed at uplifting the ethical standards and professional qualities of three-wheeler (Tuk Tuk) drivers in the Southern Province was successfully conducted on October 30, 2025, at the Hikkaduwa Urban Council premises.
Organized by the Clean Sri Lanka Secretariat and conducted with the support of the Southern Province Ruhunu Tourist Bureau, this initiative focused on enhancing service quality and ethical behavior among drivers actively engaged in the tourism sector within the Hikkaduwa tourism zone.
The program was graced by the presence of Hikkaduwa Mayor, Attorney Yasas Godakanda, along with several public representatives. The Clean Sri Lanka Secretariat was represented by Galle District Coordinator Sanjaya Dhanushka, and senior officials including Mr. Raja Kumar, Director General of the Southern Province Road Development Authority, also participated.
This training series forms part of a nationwide effort under the Clean Sri Lanka initiative to promote professionalism, courteous service, and road safety awareness among three-wheeler drivers countrywide, thereby positively impacting Sri Lanka’s tourism industry.
