Successful Phase of Mobile Public Service Program Held at Hatton.

As part of the ongoing 'A Happy Country – Clean Sri Lanka from Village to Village', a successful new phase of the mobile public service program was conducted recently at the new building complex of Hatton Railway Station in Nuwara Eliya district.

The event was graced by distinguished guests including the  Hon. Manjula Suraweerarachchi, Member of Parliament and the Chairman of the Nuwara Eliya District Cordination Committee, Hon. Kalaichelvi, Member of Parliament, Ms. Thushari Tennakoonm District Secretary-Nuwara Eliya , along with other government officials.

This mobile service program, catering to the residents of the Ambagamuwa, Norwood and Thalawakale Divisional Secretariat Divisions extended a wide range of vital services including issuance of identity cards, birth and marriage certificates, resolutions of land related disputes, solutions to agricultural and plantation issues, eye and dental clinics, maternal and child health services, specialist care for tuberculosis, drug prevention initiatives, awareness on foreign and local employment opportunities, vocational training, and environmental projects such as tree planting and waste management.

This comprehensive initiative reflects the Clean Sri Lanka program’s commitment to enhancing public access to essential government services, promoting social wellbeing, and fostering environmental sustainability across the country.
