The 36th edition of the "Take Care-Surakemu Magathota" road safety programme, organized under the Clean Sri Lanka Initiative, was successfully held on September 30 at Elpitiya Ananda College. This important event was a joint effort by the Clean Sri Lanka Secretariat, Sri Lanka Police, and the Independent Television Network.
As part of the programme, the Sri Lanka Police conducted both theoretical and practical sessions focusing on road safety and road ethics for the school children. The sessions aimed to educate young students on safe road practices, emphasizing responsible behavior to reduce accidents and promote safer communities.
This initiative continues to play a vital role in raising awareness about road safety among schoolchildren, reinforcing the Clean Sri Lanka Initiative’s commitment to creating a safer environment for all road users.
